توضیحات :کسی که می خواهد قصه نویس خوبی شود حتما باید از همان دوران کودکی قصه بخواند و خیلی زیاد هم بخواند. اما این تاکید نباید کسی را به اشتباه بیندازد که مطالعه چنین شخصی تنها باید به قصه محدود شود. موضوع کار قصه نویس انسان و زندگی است. انسان یک موجود چند بعدی است و در مسیر زندگی خود با کل هستی در ارتباط بده و بستان متقابل است. پس نویسنده برای طرح درست ودقیق و کامل انسان در قصه هایش مجبور است به شناختی کامل از هستی، جهان، طبیعت، خود و سایر موجودات دست پیدا کند. او تاریخ و گذشته ای دارد و در این سیر تاریخی شکستها و پیروزیهایی را پشت سر گذاشته، آزمایشها و خطاهایی کرده، خام بوده و پخته شده تا به صورت امروزی در آمده است. پس نویسنده لازم است چیزی از تاریخ زندگی نوع انسان، تاریخ نژاد و کشورش و آداب و رسوم ملت خود بداند. از دیگر سو، انسان تنها بعد مادی و جسمانی ندارد و دارای جنبه ای عمیقتر و پیچیده تر ـ که از آن به بخش روحی ومعنوی یاد می کنند ـ است و باید این جنبه را هم به خوبی شناخته و مطالعاتی نیز در این زمینه داشته باشد. از جمله یک نویسنده باید در زمینه های مذهبی، سیاسی، اجتماعی، روان شناسی و مردم شناسی وغیره مطالعات عمیقی انجام دهد. پس از طی این مراحل او بایدبا دید و زاویه ای جدید به پیرامون خود نگریسته و جنبه های جدیدی از موضوعات را کشف کند. او باید بتواند بر آفت بزرگ «عادت» و «روز مرگی» غلبه کند و هیچ چیز را عادی و معمولی تصور نکند بلکه به هر چیز و هر کس چنان نگاه کند که گویی اولین بار است آن را می بیند. آنگاه است که در میان همین جریانها و پدیده های از نظر دیگران معمولی زندگی، چیزهایی را خواهد دید و کشف خواهد کرد که بقیه متوجه آنها نشده اند.
